Dear
Parents,
Our eight week soccer academy starts on Saturday, September
11th and ends on November 6th. There are no sessions on October 9th
(Columbus Day weekend).
Our
academy style soccer program will once again be run by Nick Burke and Greg
Williams. I’ve outlined the program briefly below but more
information will be available soon.

Assignments
Your
child will be assigned to a group that will be posted on this website by mid-August . You will receive an email once the schedule
has been posted. We are open for registrations through the end of August but we will be closing the
registration once we are full.
The
U6 program will run on Saturday mornings and the U8 program will be in the
afternoon.
All
sessions will be held in Manchester.
Some
things you’ll need to know before the season starts:
All
players must wear shin guards. No child will be allowed to play without them.
NO jewelry is allowed. (No earrings, bracelets or necklaces). If you're
thinking of getting your child's ears pierced please consider waiting till the
end of the season. There will be no exceptions made regarding jewelry.
We will provide a MSC shirt for your child that needs to be worn at every
session. It is not mandatory but black soccer shorts and black soccer socks are
recommended. Soccer cleats are also recommended but sneakers are
fine.
Some
of our older U8 players will be moving up to the U10 program this fall. The U10
program is an in-town program with one practice a week and games on
Saturday. We will have a coach’s clinic over the summer run by Coach Nick
for those that are interested in coaching this fall around the middle to the end of August. The clinic date will be announced soon.
